Welcome to Fresh Start for Women, is a faith-based organization founded in 2004 as an answer to the growing problems related to domestic violence, abuse and sexual assault.

The mission of Fresh Start is to empower and renew the lives of women through workshops, seminars, retreats, job training, and counseling in order to facilitate the healing process, break the cycle of violence and develop healthy relationships.

Fresh Start for Women is designed to rebuild the self-esteem of women and encourage wiser life choices. This leads to women becoming viable contributing members of the community as their self-confidence grows.

Fresh Start for Women, also provides the opportunity for teen girls to explore their own identity as young women, students, daughters and future leaders by facilitating open discussions on peer pressure, abstinence, self-esteem and team building & mentoring activities.

Our Goals

*To reduce the effects of domestic violence, abuse, rape, broken marriages and sexual assault among women in our community.

*To serve as role models of the endless possibilities regardless of current circumstances.

*To provide a safe and supportive environment where women come together to share their experiences, fears, joys, hopes and dreams.
