Terri inspired and encouraged everyone through her music. Terri's debut album on CGI records entitled, "Terri Carroll", earned her two nominations at the 14th Annual Stellar Awards, no small feat for an unheard of artist coming right out of the gate. Now, seven years later Terri is back with "Holding Out 4 God." Says Terri, "I like to call it, "Holding Out 4 God, the Atlanta Sessions", because it represents for me the challenges of being outside of the mainstream of the gospel music industry and depending solely on God." E Walter Smith is a special young man who penned the song 'Tenderness' after having dated a young woman affected by domestic violence. Fresh Start for Women, Inc. was honored to have E Walter Smith present at the June 2005 Retreat where he performed this song. 'E' will also be one of the featured artists in The Tenderness Tour – Artists Against Domestic Violence and Abuse. Produced by Jett Entertainment and scheduled to start in October, the tour will feature an eclectic array of stars coming together to raise public awareness of domestic violence and abuse in all of our communities.
